Company: A publicly listed company that has a business focus
in Real Estate Investment Business.
- Responsible for the day to day operational running of all hard and soft services across the shopping centre and the overall management and up-keeping of the shopping centre property.
- Able to ensure that the day-to-day operations of the shopping centre property are well monitored and taken care of.
- Overall responsible for all day to day activities and issues pertaining to the shopping centre.
- Analyzing the monthly Income Collection (Rental, Promotion Fee, Service Charge & Utility Charges) and Ageing Records status.-Coordinating and planning the yearly events schedules and activities-Maintenance of budget expenditure and records, invoice purchase order tracking and reporting of expenditure
- Assist to formulate strong marketing strategies and plan in order to attract more suitable and appropriate tenants.
- Assist in formulating and implementing effective business plans and leasing strategies to enhance the tenancy mix as well as performance of the shopping centre.
- Develop good relationships with strategic partners / tenants whilst building and maintaining a strong rapport with retailers, vendors as well as shoppers.
- Able to assist individual shopping centre’s retailers in achieving maximum store sales potential and also creating high levels of awareness and standards of presentations within the shopping centre.
- Able to assist in budget planning and ensure that income is achieved and that expenses are within budget.
- Able to undertake recruitment, training, inductions and other people management tasks and lead and supervise a team of on-site staffs.
- Monitor maintenance staff and perform regular building inspections and attend to any maintenance issues.
Qualifications
- Candidate must be tertiary qualified or possess a Bachelor's Degree in Property Development/Real Estate Management or equivalent.
- Minimum 8 years experience in property/building/shopping centre industry especially preferred from a large shopping centre with at least 4 years in a supervisory or manager level.
- Proficient in English & Bahasa Malaysia both oral and written. Knowledge of Mandarin would be an added advantage.
- A people person with excellent time management and prioritising skills and the ability to deal with a range of different projects on the go at any one time.
- Strong computer skills including MS Office applications.
- A good team player and able to work independently.
