Human Resources Director / VP - HRD00447

Job Duties:
  • Develops organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.
  • Implements human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, employment law compliance, and labor relations.
  • Manages human resources operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing staff job contributions; maintaining compensation; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.
  • Develops human resources operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
  • Accomplishes special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities; communicating and coordinating requirements; expediting fulfillment; evaluating milestone accomplishments; evaluating optional courses of action; changing assumptions and direction.
  • Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and applications.
  • Guides management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.
  • Complies with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

  • At least 15 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Preferably Senior Managers specializing in Human Resources or equivalent.

Human Resources Director / Manager (Hotel) - HRD000551

Location: Kuala Lumpur/ PJ
Company: A publicly listed company that has a business focus in Real Estate Investment Business.
  • Deliver full spectrum of Human Resource services that contribute to business success.
  • Review and implement Human Resource policies & procedures in line with the ever changing employee needs, best practices and trends.
  • Good working knowledge of current trends and practices including HR Management, training & development, compensation, HR Information System, labour law & etc.
  • Continously identify, develop and retain employees through appropriate career placing & mapping.
  • Play the role of Business Partner and Advisor to the Management & employees, develop strong rapport, visibility, trust and involvement through solid engagement strategy.
  • Being part of the management team and playing a key role in the setting up of the overall hotel policies and guidelines.
  • Handling the management of the payroll, manpower utilization, employee’s medical care, full compliance with statutory bodies and funds i.e. Immigration, LHDN, KWSP, SOCSO etc.
  • Managing future manpower planning and resulting costs to ensure top productivity whilst meeting the business’s requirements.
  • Working closely with the senior management team to execute and implement HR strategies and programs to facilitate cultural change, promoting and encouraging a high performance culture, enhancing the employees’ satisfaction and driving accountability for results.
  • Being the culture custodian, responsible for promoting a cohesive work culture.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree, any field.
  • At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the hospitality industry.
  • A good knowledge of the Employment Act 1955, Malaysian Labour Law, SOCSO Act, Industrial Relations and prevailing HR practices and legislation
  • Solid leadership quality with dynamic personality
  • Good analytical mind
  • Team player and result oriented
  • Have excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with a demonstrated ability to influence and earn credibility and trust and resolve conflicts through effective consultancy.
  • Preferably candidates with experience in the Hospitality industry.
